For a foreign account, you will need:

• digital scans of registration with your chamber of commerce or your personal ID (passport or European ID card)
• a working e-mail address and mobile phone for verification by e-mail and SMS

For vehicle registration with foreign plates, you will need digital scans of vehicle registration documents ready for upload (JPG, PDF, PNG).

Do you need a day exemption?
Once a vehicle has been registered, you do not need special documents for a day exemption. Payment can be done by credit card or iDEAL.

In certain cases, you may address the hardship clause for prolonged exemptions. There may be several reasons for such an appeal.

The city of Rotterdam will always need information on the vehicles in your fleet, types and Euro-classification. Most importantly, you will always need to submit documents supporting your claim.
