The Rotterdam International Center is pleased to welcome you as a new citizen and wants to make sure you feel at home. There are a few essentials that you need to arrange upon your arrival in Rotterdam in order to get comfortably settled.
This may include help with local or international education, healthcare, housing, taxes and careers.
In addition, the Rotterdam International Center can assist highly skilled migrants with the entire immigration procedure with the IND (Immigration and Naturalisation Service) and the registration process on your behalf.
The Rotterdam International Center can help you find your way in Rotterdam and simplify your relocation. We achieve these goals by offering tailor- made information and services to all expats and companies employing international employees in Rotterdam.
One-Stop-Shop
At the Rotterdam International Center you can book an appointment to register with the municipality to receive a BSN, make an appointment with the IND to collect your residence permit, and/or to provide your biometrical information and open a Dutch bank account with ABN AMRO or ING. This service is called the One-Stop-Shop.
