The delivery of water can also be carried out by the energy supplier of your choice.

The supply of electricity and natural gas is possible through companies such as Eneco, Nuon (only in Dutch), Essent, Eon and Energie Direct (only in Dutch). It is up to you to choose the company that gives you the best offer. Addresses of the above and other suppliers can be found on www.energiened.nl. The supplier will also coordinate the contact with the grid manager in your region. With some companies you can also hire or buy various appliances, e.g. a boiler or heating unit.

“Green electricity”
Electricity from environmental friendly sources is called “green electricity”. It is available at a number of suppliers. The rate is somewhat higher than conventional electricity but it allows you to contribute to a cleaner environment.

Drinking water is supplied exclusively by Evides Water. The delivery will be arranged by your energy supplier. The costs will be charged on your energy bill, along with the costs of domestic refuse collection (see Domestic refuse). Generally, the supply of energy, water and the collection of refuse are charged monthly in advance. You pay a fixed amount each month for your connection and an amount for the quantity of power used.
