A sustainable port is a precondition for our license to operate and license to grow. In order to transport more goods by water and rail and less by road, we have made relevant agreements with our customers in our allocation contracts for Maasvlakte 2. Major sustainability projects included our initiatives for the World Port Climate Conference, the Rotterdam Climate Initiative, the sustainability index and our CO2 footprint.
