Guided tours
Gilde Rotterdam organizes city walks guided by senior citizens. These guides will elaborate from personal experience about life in the city and about the differences between Rotterdam of old and the modern-day metropolis. There are several walking routes in all parts of the city and two bicycle routes. Once a week there is a walking tour for which you can sign up individually. For groups of 5 persons or more a tour can be organized on request. French, German or English speaking guides are also available on request. Costs of participation are € 3.50 per person. The walks are not meant for commercial organizations.

Rotterdam Roots is an organization which stands for a variety of fun activities in Rotterdam; it arranges day-trips, incentives, sports and game activities, events and parties for national and international groups. Rotterdam Roots will introduce you to everything the city has to offer in an entertaining and pleasant way. Walks in different parts of the city and with different themes are among the many possibilities. Your guides are young people who are enthusiastic about the city and who know their way around. They will tell you all about the past, present and future of the city. Guided tours in French, German and English are also possible; tours in other languages are available on request. Especially for festive occasions there are special arrangements such as scooter hunts, luncheons and beer tasting. Daytime or evening programmes can be made-to-measure. Prices for group arrangements are available on request.

City Safari Rotterdam
City Safari Rotterdam organizes surprising and exciting trips throughout the city. You will discover the secrets of the city; inhabitants and companies invite you to look behind doors that normally remain closed. City Safari offers special arrangements for individuals, groups and companies. A four- to five- hour trip costs approximately € 57 per person.

Rotterdam ByCycle organizes guided bicycle tours to discover Rotterdam in a fun and active way. With the special bikes you can go on several excursions, such as the Inner City tour within the old harbour, through the Museumpark and “Scheepvaartkwartier”; the old and new housing estates tour past one- hundred-years of Rotterdam architecture or an evening trip through the city.
